Retiree Found Murdered in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, December 10 (NA) – A retiree was found murdered in his home in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano, and authorities reported that the victim had bruises and was tied up. Sources in the case confirmed to the Argentine News Agency that officers from the 13B Police Station of the City Police were dispatched to a residence located at Vuelta de Obligado 3100, in the Belgrano neighborhood, following a distress call from a woman. Upon arrival, the officers interviewed the complainant, who explained that she had not heard from her brother for several days and that when she came to his house, she observed that the apartment door was ajar. With the woman's permission, “the officers entered the property and found the man lying dead in the living room”. The presence of the SAME (Emergency Medical System) was requested, whose team confirmed the death and determined that the body showed signs compatible with more than 24 hours of death. Furthermore, a revealing detail is that the victim, 70 years old, was tied with a cable and had bruises. The investigation was classified as “homicide investigation” and was handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Saavedra and Núñez Districts, under the charge of Prosecutor José Campagnoli. The body was transferred to the Morgue for the corresponding autopsy and other analyses.
